Fishing around here will often see you targeting Kingfish, Mahi, Wahoo, Silky Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Red Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, Gag Grouper, Goliath Grouper, Red Grouper, Scamp Grouper, Snowy Grouper, Golden tile, Blue line tile and more, depending on the season.

During the trip, you might be spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Live bait is $60 (optional).

Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! We provide children-size life vests. It’s recommended to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled drinks, and sunscreen (non-spray). Waters and ice are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation.

The 28’ Center console with NEW reliable twin Suzuki 200s can carry up to 6 passengers It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Alek has rods and reels for you.

The charter boat covers your fishing license and rods, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.

From Cast to Catch in Seconds!

We had an absolute blast with Captain Alek! He’s laid back, fun, and truly wants you to catch fish. He took us to the perfect spot where we reeled in blackfin tuna along with 10+ other tuna—nonstop action! The best part was how hands-on he was: Captain would bait the hook, I’d cast and catch, and before I even turned around, he already had another rod ready for me. Jordan even landed a massive champion blackfin tuna that had Captain just as excited as we were! From start to finish, it was an unforgettable experience. Even if the fishing hadn’t been as lucky, I know Captain Alek would’ve made sure we had a great time. He did not disappoint, and we’ll definitely be booking with him again—no question about it. Highly recommend to anyone looking for the best charter in Miami. We won’t be using anyone else!

BIG Snappers

We had an absolutely fantastic time on the 4-hour snapper trip with Bear Cut Bandit, and I can’t say enough great things about Captain Alex. We brought our son along for his first real fishing experience, and it couldn’t have gone better. From the moment we stepped on the boat, Captain Alex was incredibly well-prepared, professional, and welcoming. You can tell immediately that he’s not only highly experienced and knowledgeable about the waters and fishing techniques, but also truly enjoys what he does. He was patient, answered all of our questions (We had a lot) and made sure everyone felt comfortable and involved throughout the trip. We had some amazing family time—caught some snapper, learned a lot, left with some great fish, amazing memories, and a pretty decent tan. Captain Alex was especially kind and encouraging with our son (he was very nervous), taking the time to show him the ropes and make sure he was having fun. If you’re looking for a great family-friendly fishing trip with a captain who knows his stuff and treats his guests like friends, Bear Cut Bandit with Captain Alex is the way to go. We’ll definitely be booking again!

This was our first time open water fishing with our kids and Captain Alek made the experience a 10/10. We had small children (8yrs-2yrs) and Alek was patient, understanding, flexible, and went above and beyond to make sure that our family’s experience was safe and fun. He is so knowledgeable about technique, the best spots, tides, and the habits of different species — it’s clear that this is a deep passion of his and anyone, families especially, are in great hands on his charter. amazing fishing trip in miami

Capt Alek is absolutely amazing! He got us hooked on some kingfish and some other species right away. It was literally one after the other. There was NO downtime because he had us reeling in fish after fish the entire time. Then he got us on some Blackfin Tuna. it was definitely challenging but he was able to guide us through. Even bagged a beuatiful Mahi. Capt Alek is the best. If we ever come to Miami to fish again, there is no doubt who we will book to fish with.
