Looking to catch some fish in Miami? Make it happen with Capt. Arturo D Castellon! With Captain Arturo at the helm, you’ll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.
Top targets include Great Barracuda, Bonefish, Black Grouper, Gag Grouper, Sailfish, Tarpon, Bull Shark, Red Snapper, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Amberjack, Snook, and more with any luck. On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Arturo can also show you kite fishing. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Now that’s dinner!
Your fishing machine for the day is a 24’ Bay boat with room for 3 passengers. Kids are welcome aboard, so bring them along. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself. There’s no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for a good time!
You can’t go wrong when you bring snacks, sunblock (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation. Just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

Arturo was passionate and it was a great experienec

We were super excited for fishing with Arturo and we we loved every bit of it. It was 2 of us fishing and he did a great job in constantly having a plenty of rods in the water to catch fish. He progressed with our skill level and when he saw opportunity for a big catch he took it. Caught lots of snapper, and when a Spinner Shark came for a visit he took the opportunity to get it on a line and we caught a shark. Overall great experience and Arturo was very passionate about fishing and made it so much better.

Incredible fishing charter

We caught a lot of fish and had a great time. Arturo really knows what he’s doing and runs everything with a lot of professionalism. You can tell he’s experienced and cares about making sure everyone has a good time. Definitely recommend this charter.

Intro to fishing on Biscayne Bay

I've lived almost my whole life in Coconut Grove along Biscayne Bay, and have hardly fished. Over the last year I've become more interested in starting, and I asked Arturo to give me an introduction to fishing these waters. We started just before sunrise and were able to catch a Bonefish, Mutton Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Grunt, and Mullet. To add to the mix we also saw a Spotted Eagle Ray jump out of the water close to us, and a pod of dolphins (including a baby).
It is clear that Arturo is extremely knowledgeable on reading the water and finding hints of where respective types of fish might be. He was very patient with my lack of experience and provided me a clearer understanding of the joys of fishing, including both the tranquility and the excitement.
I look forward to our next excursion together.

Fishing trip of a lifetime!!

Arturo was the best captain and the boat was perfect for our group. My son loves fishing and really wanted to catch a shark. Arturo delivered with a Nurse Shark. There were over 30 fish caught and multiple species. Arturo worked hard helping with bait, instructions on technique and shared lots of stories . It was a windy day and Arturo knew exactly where to go for some calm waters. I highly recommend Captain Arturo.

Incredible Florida Day

Arturo was super knowledgeable and took us to us the best spots. My husband and I had an absolute blast! I personally never have been fishing before, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it was truly an incredible day, and we even saw dolphins; twice!
