Captain Eric Planer of FloBass Fishing Charters is dedicated to providing the best and most unique freshwater angling experience in South East Florida.
Every trip is custom-tailored to accommodate the species you wish to target, customer’s needs, time of year, water conditions, etc. In the waters that Captain Eric covers, you’ll find Peacock Bass, Largemouth, Snakehead, Clown Knife Fish, Bowfin, Gar, Tarpon, Snook, and dozens of other native and exotic species.
What sets Captain Eric apart from many other fishing charters is his intimate knowledge of the backwaters that span from West Palm Beach to Homestead. Rather than charter out of a single location, Captain Eric tows his boat to a wide array of locations to provide the best trip possible.
Fly fishing, live bait fishing, conventional spinning tackle, and artificial lures, Captain Eric covers it all and can accommodate any angler aboard his 19’ ActionCraft skiff. All gear provided. Live bait available upon request for additional fee (market rate). All anglers above the age of 16 will need to purchase a Florida fishing license.
A cooler with ice and lots of bottled water will be provided by Capt. Eric. It’s a good idea to bring along a lunch or any snacks you may wish to enjoy during your fishing trip. Alcohol is allowed as well. Other items recommended for an enjoyable day on the water are a hat, sunscreen, protective sun clothing, polarized sunglasses, and lots of smiles.
Captain Eric is a devoted guide and angler. His passion is teaching. When you’re aboard his vessel, you can expect to leave a better angler than when you started the trip. His charters are more than just about catching fish and burning up time on the water. It’s about the experience and sharing a passion for fishing!
