D.C. Outdoor Adventures – Hampton Bays
D.C. Outdoor Adventures invites you to experience the stunning waters of Hampton Bays. Captain Dennis will be your guide, offering 30 years of local experience.
Enjoy great fishing in Shinnecock Bay for a great variety of fish species available. Striped Bass, Fluke, Bluefish, Porgy, Blackfish, Seabass, Weakfish, and Triggerfish inhabit these waters. There’s also great Shark fishing nearby. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep.
Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Young ones are welcome, so get ‘em offline and onto the water! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board.
Your day begins aboard a 21’ Duckwater with space for 4 passengers. Capt. Dennis has rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself. The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time!
It’s never a bad idea to bring snacks, drinks, sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and a hat. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.
