If you’re ready to go fishing in Orange Beach, look no further than Big Bob’s Charters. With Captain Bob at the helm, you’ll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.
There will be water and drinks, plus snacks, but you can bring your own if you wish. Just no alcohol, please! The deckhand and Captain Bob are good, down-to-earth Christian people, and they will do their best to make sure everyone arrives back safe and with plenty of fish, which they will clean for you. They’ll also ensure you have some amazing memories!
Depending on the season, you might hook into Red Snapper, Gray Triggerfish, Vermillion Snapper, Grouper, Scamp, Mahi and anything else that’s biting. On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish. Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board.
You’ll be casting lines from a 30’ Sea Hunt that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Plus, we have a sea keeper 2 that prevents the boat from rocking too much in the ruff waters. Capt. Bob will provide rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more. Don’t forget to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water.
