Testify Charters – "Confirmation"

Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Red Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Porgy, Amberjack, Scamp Grouper, Gag Grouper, Blacktip Shark, Kingfish, Spanish Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Cobia, and anything else that bites. Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself trolling, drifting, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you are worried about getting seasick, go ahead and take your medicine the night before so that nothing can stand in the way of a great day. It's recommended to bring snacks, drinks, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

You'll be dropping lines from a 34' Hatteras offshore sport fishing with a capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is on the agenda to catch before you head out for the bigger fish, so the challenge begins early.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates work for tips, and it's customary and much appreciated to offer a 20% tip. Mates will take care of you. Please take care of them. The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
