Trout Talkin’ LLC is here to give you a personal experience of the wild waters of Blue Ridge. The stunning scenery here includes local waters, including some spots that only the locals know about.
Your guide specializes in fly fishing, which is how you’ll get acquainted with these waters. You may also do light tackle fishing for your catch. Mike will provide rods and reels, as well as lures and live bait. There will be bottled water, as well as light snacks. Other drinks are available upon request.
Fish caught while fly fishing is "catch and release" and will be returned to the water. Other catches are yours to keep, and your guide will even clean them for you to enjoy later. These waters are known for Brown Trout, Lake Trout, Steelhead (Rainbow Trout), Brook Trout and more – with any luck, you’ll have tight lines in no time.
You will need to grab a Georgia fishing license. Takes 5 minutes and is not expensive.
You’ll navigate the local waters with an 17’ Pontoon with room for 2 passengers per boat! Your guide has several boats and can accommodate larger groups between boats. Message Trout Talkin’ for details about the capacity. Kids are welcome, and child-size life vests are provided.
Your guide and Mike will help you follow local regulations while you fish. Plan to dress in layers and appropriate footwear (if you aren’t sure what that means, just ask). It’s never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, and sunscreen, rain or shine.
Blue Ridge has a fish with your name on it – let Trout Talkin LLC help you catch it!
