If fishing for Giant Smallmouth Bass in Clayton is on your bucket list, look no further than Coast to Cove Charters. Your guide for the day is Captain Chris, who brings years of fishing experience aboard.

Depending on the conditions, you might hook into Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, or whatever else is biting. You’ll target your catch by light tackle fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are never a bad idea – luckily, Capt. Chris will have some on board.

You’ll be welcome aboard a 20’ Falcon bass boat with room for 2 passengers. It comes equipped with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Capt. Chris will supply rods and reels for you, along with lures.

Before coming aboard, you’ll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits, or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

It’s never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor, as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks included on board.

Now, come aboard with Coast to Cove Charters and get hooked!

Whenever I'm not competing or on the road, I take great pleasure in guiding clients on fishing or boating trips, whether in freshwater or saltwater. You know, being on the water has been my dream since childhood, and it feels amazing to live this dream every day! Before this, I worked for a large corporation for about 7 years post-college. Eventually, I took the plunge and set up my own company, so I could share my deep passion for the water and outdoors with others. It’s been an incredibly rewarding journey!
