Come fish for giant Bluefin Tuna with Capt. Andrew Roberts aboard the Misty Blue! The company promises that you won’t leave disappointed, and with a 90 percent success rate, you are almost certain to be able to tick a huge Tuna off your bucket list by the end of the trip.
Misty Blue is a 45 ft boat built by the local Prince Edward Island Provincial Boat and Marine Ltd. It is a very stable and seaworthy vessel that has been designed specifically for tackling the deep waters to the east of the Canadian coastline. It is equipped with full safety gear for up to 12 passengers and features an onboard washroom, as well as cooking facilities and seating inside the enclosed cabin. The huge deck is where you’ll be spending most of you time though - and it has plenty of space for your whole group and any monsters you bring up from the deep!
Whether you choose to fish for Tuna or other deep sea species, your trip will involve travelling out to the Gulf of St Lawrence to waters that are over 30 meters deep. You will be fishing with live bait, either trolling or kite fishing depending on the weather conditions. Aside from giant Bluefin Tuna that could weigh over 1000 lbs, you could catch Mackerel, Cod, or possibly another giant of the deeps, the Halibut.
The Tuna season changes year by year but usually runs from the beginning of July until the end of October, and deep sea charters run from June through September. Everything you need for fishing will be provided - all you have to bring is appropriate clothing, sunscreen and heaps of energy to reel in an enormous fish!

Crew was unreal! We had high expectations and they crushed it - Jamie and his co pilot were beauties, best in class. This is the ultimate fishing experience and we just ate the cod which was next level good. Hats off boys!
