VitaminSea Voyages
VitaminSea Voyages is here to show you the stunning waters of Montauk.
Black Seabass, Striped Bass, Tautog, Cod, Scup (Porgy), Bluefish, Flounder, and more are in the cards if you come at the right time of year. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to drift and bottom fish using light tackle.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
Your boat for the day is a 28’ Steiger Craft cuddy cabin vessel that can carry up to 4 passengers. It has all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Captains John & Kelly will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Before coming aboard, you’ll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don’t leave home without bottled water, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Go ahead and treat yourself to a day on the water with VitaminSea Voyages.
