We had such a great time on our fishing tour with Capt Paco! We started our early morning trip off with rain and without hesitation Capt Paco gave his own rain jacket to cover the kids. His boat was very clean and stocked with all the needed supplies. He was very patient with our kids and helped our 10 year old son hook the first tarpon of the day on his own and the smile on our boys face was priceless. We all reeled in a catch which was awesome. In the downtime between fishing spots we enjoyed conversations and learning about the island. It was a great experience and highly recommend.

We had so much fun! My son landed the first tarpon and Captain Paco was great at coaching Aven in how to land the fish. We got pictures quickly and returned the fish to the water. Things became quiet after a while so we checked out another spot. The tarpon were rolling again. We set up and waited. While waiting for the next catch we enjoyed chatting with Captain Paco and learning more about the area and different experiences we have gone through. Then wham! The line on a real was zinging out! He snatched the rod and handed it to me. I had a great 25 minute fight and Captain Paco was excellent with coaching me and working the boat to land that tarpon. Captain Paco was very respectful of the fish and made sure the fish was revived and willing to go on its own before releasing it. I will definitely contact Captain Paco for my next fishing trip here in Puerto Rico for I want to come back for peacock bass.

We had an amazing trip with Tarpon and Peacock bass tours. Francisco put us on the fish within the first hour and we caught our last fish 10mins before leaving 8 fish total. I highly suggest using his charter if looking at knocking that bucket list Tarpon off your list. I will say when booking a charter for fishing isn’t always the easiest to do I mean it’s fishing and fishing isn’t always catching that’s the game you play and it’s a gamble, but with fishing with Francisco you up your stakes with 20+years of experience of fishing this area. You won’t be disappointed

Our Captain was well versed in fishing, very friendly and informative! He brought us to some fish right away!!! We had some smaller fish to start and after we had some fun he brought us to bigger fish and we hooked a monster!!!! Had an incredible experience and a fantastic fishing trip!!!!! I suggest that anyone who wants to catch fish and have a great time, they should hire captain Mendez!!!! He is also an army vet (thank you for your service captain!) He is knowledgeable of the area if you have questions, and even inexperienced anglers will enjoy a trip with him!!!! Btw he has 26 years experience fishing these waters!!! He comes highly recommend!!!! Thanks again for a great trip!!!!

I’m so glad that with all of the options out there, we chose to go with this company! Captain Paco was amazing! He was so knowledgeable. He brought us to a spot where he knew we would catch fish, and it did not disappoint. He had all of the equipment already to go as well as the bait. He also provided water and soft drinks. Although he had bug spray and sunscreen available, I suggest you bring some if you use something specific. Also, I would bring a rain jacket just in case. Weather can be a little unpredictable in Puerto Rico. While we were fishing, he gave us helpful tips on where to eat, as well as where to visit on the island. I can’t wait to come back and fish with him again I think I’ll actually try peacock bass next time! My husband and I highly recommend…don’t bother going anywhere else.
