Depending on conditions, you might hook into Amberjack, Mahi Mahi, Gag Grouper, Scamp Grouper, Jack Crevalle, King Mackerel, Redfish, Sheepshead, Cubera Snapper, Lane Snapper, Red Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, and plenty more. On the day of your trip, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Kids are welcome, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
Your boat for the day is a 22' Grady White dual console with room for 6 passengers. It has all the essentials. Capt. Bill will supply rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Have in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
Don't leave home without sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

You could say this….We booked this trip as a Mother’s Day gift for our Mom. There were four of us in all. None of us have been on a fishing trip like this and it turned out to be the highlight of our vacation. Captain Bill was entertaining and knowledgeable. He helped the beginners just enough to make the trip a learning experience as well as an adventure. My sister and mom caught several vermilion snapper while my cousin and I reeled in snd released a 35 lb amberjack which was way harder than we expected but a great experience. Highly recommend booking with Captain Bill…you will be really glad you did!
We had the absolute best time with Bill! He is so knowledgeable and helpful! He was so kind and great with our kids! This was their first experience and he made it a great one! Unfortunately the waters weren’t in the best conditions for fishing thanks to the recent hurricane but he still made it fun and we still had some great catches! I will always recommend Bill and cant wait to go back out again!
Our family recently had the pleasure of embarking on a deep sea fishing adventure with Captain Bill. As parents of three teens, we began the day not knowing what to expect but then ending the day with a boatload of memories, sage fishing wisdom, and a surprisingly large catch of fish that we got to take home and eat. From curing seasickness, to helping us finally catch the “one the kept getting away”, Captain Bill was the ideal guide. His patience, humor, and kindness, was exactly what our family needed to put us at ease on the high seas.
It was an absolute blast out on the water with captain Bill. Even with sub-par fishing conditions we were still able to get some snapper and various other fish. He's very helpful and great at teaching you how to be more successful at landing a fish. We will absolutely be doing it again!
We had a great day fishing! Captain Bill went out of his way to find us fish!! All six of us caught something, and although we only had one keeper, we had a fun morning!! We even had a big one that took all the line, ran with it, broke it and got away!! Shark?!
