Ready to go fishing in Santa Rosa Beach? That’s what Reel 30A Surf Fishing Charters is here for.

You won’t have to travel far to fish these nearshore waters, including some spots that only the locals know about.

The name of the game around here is light tackle fishing, and that’s exactly what you’ll do. You can also do a bit of and maybe more your guide wants to show you. Blake will provide rods and reels and live bait.

These waters are known for Pompano, Whiting, Redfish, Bluefish, Bonnethead Shark, Blacktip Shark, Black Drum, Jack Crevalle, and more – with any luck, it won’t take long to hook into some.

You’re welcome to keep any fish that meet regulations. That’s dinner, right there! Groups of up to 4 can join these excursions. You’ll be fishing without a boat, so expect to make your way on foot at least part of the time and come dressed for current weather conditions.

Everyone in your group should buy a local fishing license ahead of time. You can find out more online, including exceptions that may apply. Be sure to dress in layers and suitable footwear (if you aren’t sure what that means, just ask). It’s never a bad idea to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and bottled water, rain or shine.

Blake welcomes anglers of all ages on these trips, including kids. Remember to ask if child-sized life vests are available; otherwise, you’ll have to bring your own.
