Kora Charters is here to help you experience the stunning waters of St. Petersburg. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Ravy can tell you all about them.
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Snook, Redfish, Grouper, Mangrove Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Blacktip Shark, Kingfish, and whatever else takes the bait. On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. For the more adventurous among you, there’s spearfishing.
You’ll be dropping lines from a 35’ Proline that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Now that’s dinner! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.
Kids are welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. It’s always wise to bring snacks, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation. Just be sure to avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.
Give yourself something to look forward to, and book a trip with Kora Charters!
