Watersport enthusiasts will find a plethora of rewarding opportunities in the bountiful waters around Fiji’s islands. Xtasea Charters will help you to make the most of everything these waters have to offer. Captain Rob Krause is serious about providing a top-quality sportfishing experience, but he also appreciates other diverse opportunities available on these waters.
You’ll fish aboard Wai Tadra, a 40’ White Capt boat fully surveyed to explore any destination within Fiji’s waters. The company has the flexibility to provide trips around any one of the country’s 300 plus islands. This flexibility, combined with the superior quality of the boat, makes Xtasea Fiji’s premier sportfishing operation.
Wai Tadra is powered by two 900 HP Hino engines. It features a luxurious air-conditioned interior complemented by a huge, self-draining back deck. There are gadgets required for game fishing on board, with tuna tubes, a live bait tank and a high tech fighting chair all at your disposal. You’ll also appreciate the enclosed head with a hot and cold shower!
You will be fishing with custom-built heavy tackle by Shimano, using an assortment of artificial lures, teasers, live bait, and dead bait. The crew will be happy to clean and fillet your catch, so you can take it straight to the table upon your return.
Your trip will be tailored to what you want to get out of it and what the conditions are like on the day. It could involve trolling and casting poppers on light tackle for Giant Trevally and Mackerel over the myriad of reefs and shoals. Then you might head to the drop-offs to target Dogtooth Tuna, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, and Sailfish.
And if you have come to Fiji with one goal in mind – to catch a giant and lightning-fast Marlin, the crew will help you work the bait schools, currents, and seamounts for Blue, Black, and Striped Marlin.
Join Xtasea Charters and have an action-packed and memorable fishing trip in Fiji!.
