The video clip is from the 2023 tarpon season.
I’ve been USCG Licensed since 1992 and have vast experience helping clients catch different species in three states.
Winyah Bay is a diverse fishery covering 520,000 acres. The Bay is fed by four major river systems: the Black, Sampit, Waccamaw and Pee Dee.
These waters are known for Redfish ( bull reds ), Bull Shark, Blacktip Shark, Bonnethead Shark, Thresher Shark, Tarpon, and more . Top quality spinning gear is provided for all redfish and tarpon fishing.
Tarpon fishing requires patience and tremendous skill if hooked up with a silver king. This isn’t Florida tarpon fishing. It’s a major accomplishment to hook up and land a Winyah Bay Tarpon. We have a good run of BIG TARPON. I’m second to none when it comes to fishing for these giants in Winyah Bay. That said bring patience and a positive attitude if booking a tarpon trip.
There is a Yeti soft side cooler with ice onboard for your beverages and food. ( BRING plenty of water or re-hydrating sport drinks. Soft drinks with sugar are not recommended in hot weather. Alcohol is NOT allowed .
Your excursion begins aboard a 19’ Mako center console that holds up to 2 passengers. The Classic Mako is a deep hull design proven to be seaworthy and safe. Google classic Mako boats to read the build quality of Mako boats BEFORE they were bought out by Tracker Marine in 1992. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures and fresh mullet for big drum ( redfish ) I’m in constant contact with another local guide who is a great friend and one of the most seasoned, respected guides in the industry. This puts odds in your favor for a great day of fishing.
The click of a button is the only thing keeping you from a great day on the water with Zero Tolerance Charters.
I truly enjoy meeting people who live life to the fullest. Appreciate every sunrise 🌅 and sunset 🌇
