Make the most of your time in Captiva and go fishing with Floridaze Fishing Charters. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Brandon can tell you all about them.
These waters are known for Spotted Seatrout, Sheepshead, Gag Grouper, Redfish, Blacktip Shark, Jack Crevalle, Tarpon, Lane Snapper, Snook, Spanish Mackerel, Black Drum, Mangrove Snapper, and more – with any luck, it won’t take long to hook into some. You can expect to do some spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Capt. Brandon believes in teaching kids to fish while they’re young, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
Your excursion begins aboard a 22’ Pathfinder bay boat with room for 6 passengers. It comes with a fighting chair and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Have in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain. It’s recommended to bring sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Give yourself something to look forward to and book a trip with Floridaze Fishing Charters!
