Largemouth Bass, Alligator Gar, Redfish, Speckled Trout, and more could be biting if you cast your line at the right time of year. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light tackle. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep.

You’ll be welcome aboard a 22’ Bay boat that holds up to 4 passengers. It comes with everything else you need for a productive day on the water. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

Before coming aboard, you’ll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available. It’s always wise to bring snacks, drinks, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation. Just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
