Excited to cast a line in Sooke? Rising Tide Coastal Adventures is here to make it happen! With Captain Don at the helm, you’ll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.

These waters are known for Halibut, Chinook Salmon, Chum Salmon, Coho Salmon, Pink Salmon, Lingcod, and more – with any luck, they’ll make your reel scream. You’ll target your catch by spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Rising Tide Coastal Adventures is a child-friendly charter service, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Now that’s dinner!

You’ll be welcome aboard a 22’ Hewescraft Aluminum fishing boat that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with downriggers and all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures and bait.

Before coming aboard, you may need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

Don’t leave home without a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Bottled water is included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor and glass bottles. There will be some light snacks for you on board.
