You will find this charter company on the Playas del Coco in the Gulf of Papagayo, which is world-famous for excellent fishing and beautiful marine life. When you book an expedition with Captain Eduardo Franco, you don’t just get a chance to hook something fantastic, but also to go snorkeling and admire the underwater world waiting for you just below the surface.
Your captain has fished all around Costa Rica and his experience, both inshore and offshore, makes him an extremely well-rounded angler with the technical experience to target anything from Marlin, Sailfish, and Roosterfish to Mahi Mahi, Tuna, and Jack Crevalle. You will have a blast chasing and wrestling pelagic royalty and chances are, you will snatch something truly awesome. After the trip, you will get your catch cleaned, filleted, and ready to eat.
To start off your trip, you will come aboard a 29’ custom built center console powered by a 200 HP Suzuki engine. The vessel can accommodate up to 7 anglers and is fully equipped with Shimano and Penn rods, reels, and tackle you will need on your trip. If you’re an avid flyrodder, remember to bring your own fly fishing gear.
What’s more, the boat is outfitted with the top of the line fishing finding and navigational equipment allowing you to find the hottest bite 20-30 miles from the shore. She also sports a private toilet and fighting chairs to help you when reeling in something monumental.
If you choose to come on the trip with your family and kids, the captain will gladly adjust everything and go to calmer waters, so that everybody can enjoy it equally. Drinks, snacks, and lunch (on full day trips), even sunscreen are all included in the trip’s price.
