Captain Jay Charters 2 – Bay Boat 

We had an amazing day on the water with Captain Bryan! He was incredibly patient with the kids and made sure everyone felt comfortable and included, which made the experience even more enjoyable for our family. The weather was a little unpredictable, but he was flexible and adjusted our plans so we could still have a great trip. We caught tons of fish and a great variety too, which kept the excitement going the whole time. The kids had an absolute blast and it turned into such a fun and memorable day for all of us. I booked the charter for me and my son during our holiday vacation to the keys. I explained to Captain Ryan how we weren't looking to keep any fish and just wanted to get the best fishing action possible. Captain Ryan proceeded to take us to their Grouper fishing grounds and we had a blast! We've never fished for such huge fish before and the experience was unforgettable. We hooked 2 huge groupers but were not able to get them to the boat since they were too big. However, we also hooked a huge 8-9 foot bull shark and were able to get it to the boat for pictures and video. Fantastic trip!!!!

My family had an absolutely incredible time on this fishing charter! From start to finish, everything was smooth, professional, and a whole lot of fun. Captain Bryce was knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about what he did. He knew exactly where to take us, and we were reeling in fish in no time. The boat was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable, and Captain Bryce made sure everyone—beginners and experienced anglers alike—felt confident and taken care of. He handled all the gear, shared great tips, and created a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere. Would highly recommend!

We had Bryan as our Captain and he was great. He was very knowledgeable about the spots to fish and where we needed to go. We had to slighlty alter plans, due to the wind, but Brian communicated that ahead of time and it was his decision for the safety and comfort for everyone on the boat. We caught a LOT of fish. Limits of snapper, other small species, then we went after Cobia and we landed two in the boat Thanks to Bryan. He also warned us about sharks and yes, we did see a couple (or the same a few times) 7' or so Bull sharks. Overall, a great trip with Bryan and would definitely recommend Capt Jays and Bryan to anyone looking for some good fun on the water!

We all had a great time with Captain Bryce! He knew a lot about the different fishing locations and what kind of fish we would be wanting to catch for dinner. Captain Bryce was really kind and patient. We didn't have much experience fishing on a boat so he taught us a lot about how the fish behave and what to do when we had a bite. We caught different types of fish as well and saw a couple big sharks and some barracudas who were hunting our fish. And the end of the trip we had enough good fish for 6 people to eat. (They were delicious) Captian Bryce kindly cutt them up for us when we got back to the dock. All in all it was a very fun trip and we definitly would recommend anyone to go fishing at this location! My 14 year old son and I fished with Capt. Ben Milo and had a great time! Started on the reef catching yellowtail (in abundance), a couple mutton, a nurse shark, a hound fish and some baitfish. Then we trolled for a cuda to get to 6 different species but it got off at the boat. Once back at the dock Ben cleaned the yellowtail and set my son up with a pole where he was able to landed a cuda! Will be booking again with Capt. Ben!

We had a really exciting and fun trip with Captain Bryan. He got us onto all kinds of fish. We even got to get up and close with a hammerhead shark. At least as close as you would want to. Bryan was easy to talk to and we had a blast catching numerous different types of fish. Overall a fantastic fishing trip for my son’s birthday. I would definitely book another trip in the future.

Me and mybson had Bryan, the dude was incredibly knowledgable and helpful. He made contact with me prior to the trip to keeo me updatedonthe trip, unfortunately we tried too get to the reef but there seas weren't havng it. If he didnt give the heads up im sure the trip would of been a dud. I highly recommend this sevice, its monday well spent.

For our trip we had Captain Brian who was very knowledgeable. We caught alot of fish various kinds of snappers, bluefish, mackerel, shark, grouper, and jacks. It was a great experience and I highly recommend this charter! If you decide to keep some of your catch take it to Lazy Days South. Its roughly a 10 minute drive from their dock and they will cook your catch however you like. We recommend fried with Lazy Day style (Tomatoes, Parmesan, Green Onion, and KeyLime Butter) also their Coconut shrimp are phenominal!

My son and I had a great half-day experience with Captain Bryan. We caught a lot of Mangrove Snapper and a Bonnethead Shark at the end. Bryan was a very good teacher to us. Would book this charter again. A bit more variety of fishes would have been great. Maybe it was due to the season…
