Ready to cast a line in Seward? That’s what Go Time Charters is here for!
Salmon, Rockfish, Lingcod, Cod, and more can be found in these waters, depending on the season. You can expect to do some light tackle fishing, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
You’ll be welcome aboard a 27’ Hewescraft that can carry up to 4 passengers. It has downriggers and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Rick will supply rods and reels for you, as well as lures.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates often work for tips, and it’s customary to offer them a 10–20% tip. You might need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
It’s recommended to bring sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now’s the time to experience fishing in Seward for yourself, with Go Time Charters!
