Capt. Michael fishes aboard a 25' Majek Extreme center console boat that accommodates up to 5 guests. The boat is equipped with top of the line electronics, two huge livewells, an oxygen system for bait, a power pole, and a jack plate. The boat gives a very comfortable ride, and has plenty of space, with bucket seats and dry storage on board for all to use.
During your trip, you can try out wade fishing, drift fishing or anchored fishing throughout the inshore Galveston Bay. You can either use live bait or artificial lures to target Speckled Trout, Redfish, Flounder, Sheepshead, Black Drum and more, or you can travel further out to experience some exciting Shark action. Please note, live bait comes at an extra cost.
You will be supplied with high-quality tackle, with Shimano reels and Redtail rods making up a large part of the gear used. Whether you want to practice spin casting or bait casting, Capt. Michael will be able to provide what you need.

Captain Mike took a couple of South Louisiana boys (my 14 yr old son and I) out for a half day trip on Galveston Bay. Learned a new technique (dredge fishing), specs were large and plentiful, and my son caught a new PB 24 incher. Captain Mike was great to deal with. Communication was easy, and appreciated his openness about what species were biting at this time of year. Boat was in great condition with plenty of room. Would definitely recommend him as a guide!

I booked this trip for my wife's first saltwater fishing experience. Captain Mike was patient and took his time making sure she knew how to use the equipment and worked hard to keep us both on fish. We limited on trout plus several keeper drum and a 27" redfish. A big bonus was a 20 minute fight with a jack that Captain Mike estimated at 50 pounds. I got him close enough to the boat to see several times but he ultimately broke off. On light tackle, it was amazing. Captain Mike used the boat perfectly to keep me with line available to work the fish. I'll definitely book with him again. Highest possible recommendation!
