Book your next trip with Reel Fishing Charters and find out what keeps anglers coming back to Cedar Key for more. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Nick is prepared to put you on fish.

Around here, it’s common to catch Redfish, Trout, Tripletail, Cobia, Snook, Flounder, Sheepshead, Blacktip Shark, Ray, Scallops, Largemouth Bass, Catfish, and more, depending on conditions. During the trip, you might be light tackle fishing, drifting, and bottom fishing. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Now that’s dinner!

Your trip begins aboard a 21’ Center console that can carry up to 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

There’s no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.

If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available. It’s always wise to bring snacks, sunglasses, a hat, sunblock, and your drink of choice. Bottled water is included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed.

I have been working on the water since I was 16 years of age and have been commercially fishing up until I started charter fishing three years ago. I still commercially fish and harvest oyster/clams when I am not charter fishing.
