Spend the day with Strike Zone Charters and find out what the fishing in Biloxi is all about!
Amberjack, Red Snapper, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, Cobia, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Gag Grouper, Scamp Grouper, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Swordfish, Tilefish, and more can be found in these waters, depending on when you go.
Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Children are welcome, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks – lucky for you, there will already be some on board!
You’ll be fishing aboard a 36’ Center console with space for 6 passengers. It has outriggers and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience.
Rods, reels, and tackle are included, along with lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself. Please note that fuel is charged separately.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It’s recommended to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks available on board.
Now, time to hit the water with Strike Zone Charters!
