is a born resident of plaqumines parish. With being raised on these south Louisiana waters Capt. Kyle guarantees a safe and fun time while fishing.
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Redfish, Red Snapper, Speckled Trout, Mangrove Snapper, Cobia, Jack Crevalle, Flounder, Sheepshead, Black Drum, and whatever else is biting. On these trips, it’s common to use light or heavy tackle.
If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
Your day begins aboard a 24' Champion bay boat that holds up to 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. Capt. Kyle will supply rods and reels for you, as well as lures.
Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's recommended to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
