Nelson's Guide Service, LLC
Spend the day with Nelson’s Guide Service and let them show you what makes the fishing in Austin so memorable! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Aaron can tell you all about them.
Species like Largemouth Bass, Spotted Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Striped Bass, Crappie, and more are in the cards if you cast your line at the right time of year. For these species, you’re likely to use light tackle.
You’ll be fishing aboard a 19’ Skeeter bass boat with space for 2 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures.
Before coming aboard, you will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect. Don’t forget to bring sunglasses and sunscreen (non-spray). If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
How often would you rather be fishing? Go on and turn that daydream into a reality, with Nelson’s Guide Service.
