Puerto Morelos has a fish with your name on it, so let Marina El Cid help you catch it!
Species like Amberjack, Cubera Snapper, Red Grouper, Mutton Snapper, Wahoo, Great Barracuda, Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Bonito, Sailfish, Mackerel, and more could be biting, depending on the time of year. You’ll target your catch by light tackle fishing, trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
Marina El Cid and their experienced captains welcome you aboard a 38’ Bertram offshore sport fishing vessel that can carry up to 10 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. What’s more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures.
You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. It’s customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
There’s no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain. Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, a hat, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. Lunch is provided on 6 and 8-hour trips, just reach out to learn more, especially if you have any dietary needs.
Now, come aboard with Marina El Cid and get hooked!
