Captain Owen grew up in coastal southern Maine. He’s fished the saco bay and its surrounding areas for his entire life. He spends his winters down in Florida running fishing charters. If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are also a good idea so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!

Your vessel for the day is a twenty foot Flats And Bay boat with room for 3 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect. Don’t forget to bring sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
