Run For The Reels – Siesta Key
Make that daydream about fishing in Siesta Key a reality, with Run For The Reels!
Here you’ll have access to local beaches, including a few honeyholes that only the locals can clue you in on.
Carson specializes in heavy tackle fishing, which is how you’ll get acquainted with these waters. You may also bottom fish, for your catch. Carson will provide rods, reels, and dead bait.
Depending on conditions, you might hook into Blacktip Shark, Bonnethead Shark, Bull Shark, Hammerhead Shark, Lemon Shark, Nurse Shark, Tiger Shark, and who knows what else!
Groups of up to 70 can join these excursions. You’ll make your way to the fishing grounds on foot, so dress accordingly and bring only as much as you can carry. Expect to get in touch with Carson before the trip so you know where to meet and how to get there.
Your fishing license for the day is not included, so members of your group will need to buy one. You can find out more online, including exceptions that may apply. Be sure to dress in layers and suitable footwear (if you aren’t sure what that means, just ask). It’s never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen in any weather conditions.
Carson will have bottled water for you, and if you wish to bring your own simply ask. Ready to have the whole family unplug? Then you’ll be glad to know that kids are more than welcome.
Run For The Reels is ready to take you out on the water. Time to make it happen!
