Hello, I’m Capt James Berger owner and operator of Frigate About It Charters out of Boynton Beach. I was born and raised in Boynton Beach and have been fishing these waters since a very young age. I have been in the charter fishing industry my whole life and know what it takes to make a safe, memorable, and fish-filled trip.

I have logged countless hours on these waters studying and learning the local weather patterns and fish migrations and behavior giving me and my clients the upper hand when it comes to locating the fish and getting them to bite in tricky conditions. I absolutely love putting people on fish and helping them make memories that will last forever. We are great with kids also so bring ‘em if you got ‘em!

We offer trolling, live bait, kite fishing, swordfish trips, bottom fishing (depending on conditions) and Bahamas trips to our clients and we want to catch them just as much as you do, so we always give 110% effort the whole trip.

Our boat ‘Patti B’ is a 36’ Hatteras sport fishing yacht that was designed for comfort and ultimate fishability. With reliable twin diesel motors and a diesel generator, our boat is equipped with everything you could want or need for a great day on the water including a spacious fully air-conditioned cabin, a full bathroom with fresh water, a full-sized fridge for your food, and drinks (we supply water), a small kitchen area with a microwave for any kind of food prep or making cocktails, top of the line Garmin GPS and fish finder + relief shade mapping and top of the line fishing equipment.
