Capt. Alan runs a 26’ Blackman Outer Banks sportfishing boat. It can accommodate up to 4 anglers offshore, or 6 guests when heading out on the Bay. Equipped with a 350 HP Volvo diesel engine, it’ll provide a quick and steady ride to the offshore grounds.
For a productive day of fishing, the vessel comes fitted with outriggers, Simrad electronics, and a 65-gallon bait tank. It features a flybridge to make sure you don’t miss any action below. For your comfort, the boat also comes with beds and coolers for your drinks, as well as a walk-in head.
Capt. Alan specializes in a wide range of fishing techniques, and he’ll provide you with all the equipment you’ll need. If you’re up for a spearfishing adventure, make sure to bring your own equipment. The captain will be happy to clean and fillet your catch, so you can have a nice fresh-caught dinner upon your return.
He offers charters on the calm San Diego Bay waters, or up to 40 miles offshore on the Pacific Ocean fishing grounds. You’ll explore the Coronado Islands, 9 Mile Bank, outer banks, and artificial and natural reefs.
You’ll be using the best methods to target offshore species such as Tuna, Dorado, Yellowtail, Marlin, Wahoo, Mako Shark, Thresher Shark, Calico Bass, and Halibut. You can also target Bay species like Bonefish, Bass, Corvina, and Bay Sharks.
Trips include the use of all fishing gear, live bait, lures, fish cleaning and bagging, and water. The captain also offers boating lessons, as well as half and full day freshwater fishing trips on the local lakes aboard his 20’ Ranger bass boat.

Customers can cancel or modify their booking up to 14 days before the trip date free of charge. If the trip is canceled or modified later, or in the event of a no-show, 100% of the deposit will be charged.
When paying the remaining balance with a credit card, there is a 3% fee.
