Black Princess Charters

Cayman Islands Yacht Club
Cayman Islands, Cayman Islands

Black Princess Charters have been providing first rate fishing trips full time for thirty years, and have 60 years experience in the fishing business. As all the staff were born on the Cayman Islands, they know the area’s waters extremely well and will impart this knowledge to everyone who takes part in their trips.

You will be fishing aboard their 23 ft Seacraft boat, which is great for fishing and snorkeling excursions. The boat is powered by two 60 HP Yamaha engines, which propel it safely and reliably to the fishing grounds. With a large canopy for shade and plenty of seating on deck, your group of up to four anglers will be comfortable throughout the trip. As far as fishing is concerned, the boat is equipped with a GPS and fishfinder, as well as outriggers. An on-board ice box will also keep your drinks cool and your catch fresh!

Your captain, Chuckie Ebanks, has been making custom fishing rods since he was 12 years old, so you can be sure that all the tackle used on your trip has been designed specifically for fishing around the local area. Your target species could include Wahoo, Tuna, Mahi Mahi, and Marlin, among many others, and you could even incorporate snorkeling into your trip if you would like a break from fishing.

59 years fishing and 30 years as a charter boat captain. I made my first fishing rod at age 12 years and built my first boat at 13. I decided to become a charter boat operator because of my affinity with the sea having been born and raised on the coast.

Crew was very nice but explained to us AFTER the trip was paid for that this is not the season for fishing close to shore. I think that should have been explained to us before we spent $500 to not catch anything.

Had a great time and caught a lot of fish. Brought the fish to the restaurant at the dock for dinner.

Captain Chuckie did all he could in bad weather.  In addition, I salute his hard work ethics due to his illness that he has been fighting.  I felt bad for him cause of the struggles he was facing but he was still out there working as hard as he could on his own.  When most people would retire he was still working.  We caught no fish & I ended the trip early cause the seas were a bit rough & my wife & daughter were bored.  Capt Chuckie did not suggest this I did.  I still paid the full amount & figured the 5 hour boat ride up & down the 7 mile beach was beautiful enough to justify the cost.  We had a great time & made it back to the dock safely which for me always indicates you had a great time.
