These waters are known for Gag Grouper, Red Snapper, Amberjack, Mahi, African Pompano, Sharks, and many more large species – with any luck, it won’t be long before "Fish on!" On the day of your fishing charter, you’re likely to bottom fish or troll over shipwrecks, barges, and ledges using light or heavy tackle.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Life jackets for kids and adults are provided. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
You’ll be fishing aboard a 27’ Pair Marine custom center console with room for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, coolers, and all the essentials. Captain James Rose has rods and reels for you, along with lures and cut bait. Live bait is on offer, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for some fishing! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Captain James Rose will help you follow regulations while you fish. Some essentials to bring are sunblock, sunglasses, close-toed shoes, and food. Drinks, ice, and coolers will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
