Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself utilizing spinning rods, trolling with downriggers and planner boards or maybe something more specialized if you are pursuing a specific species.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Child-sized life vests are available(Coast Guard off shore type 1 which are not comfortable to wear all day), otherwise you should bring your own.
You’ll be dropping lines from a 2024 - 23’ Starcraft Fishmaster with a capacity for 5 passengers. It comes with the most up-to-date electronics including Garmin Livescope. All this technology will ensure you have a productive day on the water.
Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is included ( based on the type of fishing
Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain. Fishing licenses are required for anyone over the age of 16. You can obtain a License online or any local sporting license retailer ( Walmart , Bass Pro, Town Offices )
It’s recommended to bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid glass bottles.
