His 23',8" Shoalwater Catamaran boat allows you to explore untouchable areas of shallow water to catch a variety of species in Pasco County. This charter departs from a small marina just north of Tampa Bay, in a city called New Port Richey. Renowned for its stunning coastline, abundant marine life, and fantastic inshore fishing opportunities, Pasco County is a true angler's paradise.
Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, Capt. JC will have some for you.
This charter covers up to 4 fishing licenses, just show up ready for a good time!
There are plenty of species to keep, like Sheepshead, Trout, Snapper, Flounder, Black Drum, and more! However, Redfish and Snook will not be kept.
He can take up to 6 guests safely! However, 4 people fishing at a time due to comfortability. Please reach out to him if any accommodations or a 6th person is needed before booking. This was the first time going after scallops. It was amazing !! We found 3 orange scallops and ended up with 175 total scallops between 3 of us. The small ones had to go back to grow. This is a trip that I would definitely do again. Captain JC is awesome and if you listen to what he tells you, then you definitely find scallops. We seen starfish, a seahorse, sheepshead fish, toad fish, remora fish, and even a stingray. You also see lots of other little fish around. It's an amazing experience. Definitely worth doing. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Jayson is a fantastic guide and we caught fish all day. The boat is clean, top of the line equipment, plenty of live bait, and great communication prior to the trip. We caught reds all day and when one spot stopped producing fish we moved locations to where the fish were and would hook up again. Jayson knows the water and tides, where the fish are, and best of all, Jayson is an overall great person to spend the day on the water with. Don't look for another guide as Jayson is the man you will want to fish with!!!!

This was my first time doing a fishing charter and the Captain made the experience wonderful for all. The weather and water temps limited our fishing options, but everyone managed to catch fish and have a great time. The boat was amazingly stable and the Captain was patient and very knowledgeable, answering tons of questions from my teenage grandchildren. They say it was the highlight of their Florida visit! Thanks for a great day on the water and a fresh fish dinner that evening!

Captain Jason was awesome. He was very accommodating, especially for my older 87 year old friend that went with me. His boat was very stable and provided everything we could hope for. It was a pretty windy and chilly day but he was able to turn us on to quite a few catches. I would highly recommend JC Charters to anyone looking to fish in the area. He provided everything for a great fishing trip. I highly recommend JC Charters. You won't be dissapointed. Thank you Captain JC.

Hands down, we recommend Jason Cochran for the best inshore fishing experience! We took our almost 7-year-old son out for his birthday, and this trip did not disappoint. Jason is professional, knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly family- and kid-friendly. He made the experience fun, memorable, and exciting from start to finish. We caught fish, made great memories, and already can’t wait to go again. We’ll definitely be booking with him again!
