Fin Hunter Charters

Overseas Highway
Islamorada FL, United States

Fin Hunter Charters offer light tackle flats and backcountry fishing trips in the crystal clear waters of the Florida Keys and the mangrove-filled treasure chest of the Everglades. They are conveniently based out of the Angler House Marina in Islamorada, the so-called ‘sport fishing capital of the world’.

You will be fishing aboard a 22 ft Angler Grande Bay boat that is powered by a 175 HP Suzuki four-stroke engine. The boat has recently been fitted with a 36 volt trolling motor that allows the boat to access some of the best fishing areas that the Everglades have to offer, which boats that are powered only by a conventional motor can’t reach. Accommodating up to four anglers, the boat is a safe and comfortable fishing platform for anglers of all ages and ability levels.

Charters are provided by Capt. Paul Hunt, who specializes in light tackle backcountry fishing. He uses good quality light spin and conventional tackle to fish for a wide variety of species, including Redfish, Snook, Tarpon, Seatrout, Snapper, Sharks, and many more.

All the tackle, bait and lures you will need during your trip are included in the price, and the captain will make sure all members of the party are supplied with a valid Florida fishing license. He will also clean and fillet any fish you decide to keep at the end of the trip free of charge.

Why not book with Fin Hunter Charters while you’re in the Florida Keys, and take the light tackle fishing trip that you have always dreamed about!

I grew up in south central Pennsylvania and began fishing at a young age.My lifelong love of fishing led me to the Florida Keys. In 1991 I made my first trip to Islamorada and fell in love with the beautiful backcountry and became hooked on the fishing that the area is famous for.In 2001 I made South Florida my home and soon after began guiding here full time. I am a licensed and insured Coast Guard Captain and permitted Everglades National Park fishing guide that always works hard to make sure that your charter is an enjoyable time on the water.
