If you’re in the market for a day to remember, look no further than Larry The Lunker. Having logged many hours on the upper Mississippi River, Joshua knows the water extremely well.

These waters are known for Smallmouth Bass, Muskellunge (Musky), Northern Pike, and more – with any luck, you’ll hook into a few! For these species, you’re likely to use fly fishing gear. Joshua also offers the use of light tackle, all equipment is included. Any fish you catch will be released.

Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are never a bad idea – lucky for you, there will already be some on board!

Joshua welcomes you aboard a 15’ Hyde drift boat with space for 2 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your guide will provide rods and reels, as well as flies and lures.

You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

It’s recommended to bring sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks available on board.
