If you’re ready to have fun fishing in Cabo San Lucas, look no further than Dorado lV cabo fishing adventures. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Juan can tell you all about the local fishery.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Yellowfin Tuna, Striped Marlin, Blue Marlin, Black Marlin, White Marlin, Wahoo, Yellowtail Amberjack, Sierra Mackerel, Roosterfish, Mako Shark, Sailfish, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), and who knows what else!
On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Snacks are also a good idea, so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
You’ll step aboard a 28’ Sportfishing boat that can carry up to 4 passengers. It comes with outriggers, two fighting chairs, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience.
You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
You might need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
You can’t go wrong if you bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now’s the time to experience fishing in Cabo San Lucas for yourself, with Dorado lV Cabo fishing Adventures!
