Born and raised in the Panhandle of Florida, as a young child I ran the river banks in pursuit of anything I could get to sink a cork (bobber), fishing with only a good old cane pole. It wasn't until I was around 12 that I first started to fish for saltwater species. The first time I used a fish the size of my hand for bait and had something eat it, well, I knew it was a type of fishing that I was gonna love. Since that first experience I have cut my teeth on many types of fishing techniques. I have commercial fished for King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Flounder, Mullet and have spent a many nights offshore fishing for Snappers and Groupers. When I am not fishing, I like to spend as much time in the woods. I have two boys that I spend as much time as possible with, and teach them as much as I can about the great outdoors!!
