Hoping to catch some fish in Malé? Make it happen, with Ocean Strike Fishing! Captain Moosa will be your guide, so you’ll benefit from years of professional experience.

Depending on the season, you might hook into Barracuda, Giant Seabass, Barramundi, and anything else that bites. On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. For the more adventurous among you, there’s spearfishing.

You’ll be dropping lines from a 33’ sportfishing vessel that can carry up to 8 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.

There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain. It’s recommended to bring sunglasses, a hat, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks available on board.

And that’s it! Your fishing trip with Ocean Strike Fishing is just a click away.
