J. Young Outdoors 24'
Book your next trip with J. Young Outdoors and find out what the fishing in Traverse City and surrounding areas are all about. Having spent his lifetime fishing Lake Michigan and all surrounding inland lakes, Captain Jordan can let you know where and when is the best time for any type and species.
On his larger boat expect to go to the best fishing lakes in the area. The 24’ Key West Center Console is extremely nice and comfortable.
Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself trolling, casting, jigging, or maybe something more specialized. Capt. Jordan also offers fly fishing/cast fishing/trolling for Pike, Bass, Walleye Panfish and many other inland lake species on his 19’ Bay Boat(see other listing). He provides top-of-the-line rods and reels specifically set up for each species. Captain Jordan is well rounded in many types of freshwater species fishing and has a few boats to fit the body of water and angling needs perfectly.
Families will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Capt. Jordan prefers you bring your own properly fitting child-sized life jackets, but can provide them with a description of your child’s size.
Your boat for the day is a 24’ Key West Center console with room for up to 4 passengers. It comes with rod/reels/downriggers and all the essentials. There’s a private console area on board for your bathroom privacy convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is used on specific trips. You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip.
A few items to bring include sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). There will be some drinks offered, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just no liquor or glass bottles. There will be some light snacks for you on board.
Please support your Capt. and any crew. Tips are appreciated!
