Spend the day with Fredneck Outdoors and see what’s biting in Fort Cobb! Having logged many hours on these waters, Capt. Fredrick can tell you all about them.
These waters are known for Catfish, and more – with any luck, you’ll find out for yourself! During the trip you might be light tackle fishing, trolling, drifting, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
Capt. Fredrick runs a 24’ Sylvan pontoon boat with room for 6 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
Before coming aboard, you’ll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect. It’s recommended to bring sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now’s the time to experience fishing in Fort Cobb for yourself, with Fredneck Outdoors!
