Explore the beautiful Costa Del Sol out of Perto Banus with Red Tide Charters! Captain Daniel Iván spend his entire life by the sea. With his knowledge of the area and over a decade of experience, he’ll make sure that you have a great time, as well as a productive day on the water.

The Red Tide is a 42’ Rodman flybridge built in 2005. It is powered by twin 440 HP engines, developing some serious speed, so it will take you to the best fishing spots in no time. On board you’ll find everything you’ll need for the perfect fishing trip. Outriggers, a fighting chair, a livewell, GPS, fishfinder – you name it, they have it!

You’ be using high-quality equipment for a variety of fishing techniques including trolling, popping, jigging, fly fishing, and bottom fishing. You can use different techniques depending on the trip, and on the longer trips, you’ll get a delicious lunch free of charge. Target species include Bonito, Dentex, Mahi Mahi, and Tuna.

Red Tide Charters offers a wide variety of trips to suit all tastes, operating out of Puerto Banus on the beautiful Costa Del Sol. Their trips range from two hours out with the kids catching something tasty but safe, to 12 hours of hard-fought battles against massive Tuna in the Straits of Gibraltar, with all kinds of options in between – there really is something for everyone!

Capt. Dani loves the sea and helping people land great fish is his passion and his pleasure. He and his crew will do everything they can to get you hauling in something special on every single trip.

Wonderful experience, but think ahead about what you'll do with fish!

4 Hour Trip – Bottom Fishing (PM) on July 28, 2025 • 2 adults • 2 children

We had a wonderful 4 hour charter. We caught a bunch of Black Bream, two White Bream, and one gorgeous red snapper. The captain was fantastic. Our biggest regret is that we didn't have any options to eat our fish after the trip. The only other time we did a fishing charter, the crew was able to refer us to a restaurant or grill that would cook up our catch for a fee. When we asked here, they said there's nowhere that'll do this service during the high season (summer). So at the end of our tour, we had a bunch of fish (which were not scaled or cleaned), that we had to either release or take home and deal with ourselves. We ended up letting them all go, except for 2, which we took back to our AirB&B and attempted to clean and cook in our tiny kitchenette. (Imagine the scales flying everywhere as inexperienced novices try to use a butterknife to scale their fish…). If you don't want to be trying to fry your fish on a tiny hot plate, I recommend you think ahead about your plans for the fish you catch - if you can't scale, clean, and cook them yourselves, be prepared to let them go. My other recommendation is to keep an eye on time to make sure you fit in everything you want to do. We had indicated at the start we halted to both fish and swim in the ocean. But we didn't watch the clock and when we were ready to swim, it turned out that it was already time to return to shore, so we didn't get to swim. Overall, I'd definitely do this charter again, especially now that I'm more informed about what to expect.

Great Day Out

We had a great afternoon fishing with Red Tide Charters....we went trolling and caught 3 fair sized fish called Little Tunnys that put up a good fight and also did a little bottom fishing and caught some smaller fish aswell. Our captain was super positive, very helpful and knowledgeable, which made the trip even better, we had a great trip, thanks to Red Tide Charters

Recommend the 3 hr trip

Captain Danny was really great w the kids. We went out in the am for a 2hr trip. I don't think this is enough time because if you don't land on a lot of fish, you only have one or two other spots to try before times up. Doing 3 hrs gives the captain some more options to get You know some fish and likely isn't more expensive than the 2 hr trip. Do that one.

Fantastic trip

We had no experience with fishing and wanted to try it out. Samuel was great, helped us to get used to the rods and gave different options. We had a lovely time on the boat and all managed to catch a fish! We would definitely come back and try for the bigger ones. Thank you. Would recommend this trip, we did 3 hours which was perfect.
