Cap’n Hoek Fishing Adventures – Cumming
Cumming has a fish with your name on it, so let Cap’n Hoek Fishing Adventures help you catch it! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Hunter is prepared to put you on fish.
These waters are known for Striped Bass, Crappie, Yellow Perch, Walleye, Hybrid Striped Bass, Catfish, Spotted Bass, and more – with any luck, they’ll make your reel scream. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Cap’n Hoek Fishing Adventures welcomes kids aboard, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
Your boat for the day is a 22’ Tidewater bay boat that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has downriggers and all the essentials. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Before coming aboard, you’ll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect. Don’t forget to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now, time to hit the water with Cap’n Hoek Fishing Adventures!
