I started guiding because I am very passionate about fishing and love to teach people the correct way to catch and release different species of fish. I also enjoy that clients are able to keep some fish. I love the feeling when I take out a client and they catch their targeted species under my instruction and they have a photo and a successful release. I love seeing our clients with those great big smiles on their faces once they have landed an amazing fish. I am passionate about fishing because it is the ultimate refreshing feeling being out on a boat in these pristine waters of the Northern Territory, and the adrenalin you get once a fish is hooked. Fishing up here in the Northern Territory has to be one of the ultimate things to do, and I do it for a living. The wildlife always amazes me every time I get on the water, there is such a vast amount of wildlife I see some thing new every time I am on the water.

We were booked to fish corroboree billabong but they sent us to Dundee beach. I was not happy that they changed with out telling us as we spoke to them the day before. I must say the guide was most helpful and tried his hardest to find fish all day, he worked hard all day for all the clients . I have had a lot to do with fishing charters and have fished and owned my boats for over 40 years. I feel the organisation and communication by the charter company was very poor and could recommend the guide but not the company.
