There's a fish with your name on it in Port Aransas and Marks guide service will help you catch it! Captain Mark will be your guide, bringing aboard years of angling experience.
There's no guarantee when you're fishing, but just some of the species you can catch around here include Black Drum, Flounder, Sheepshead, Pompano, Redfish, and more with any luck. On these trips, you can expect to use light tackle.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
You'll be casting lines from a 24' Haynie center console that holds up to 4 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Capt. Mark will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect. You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Mark was knowledgeable and took us to where the fish were. He was patient with my family and I and stayed longer to try to catch more fish. Although the bite was a little slow, we had a great time. I wouldnt hesitate to use Capt. Mark again.

Good Day on the water

Captain Mark and Ben were excellent taking care of us, teaching as we went not about fishing and about the history of the area. Excellent with the kids. On the way back in we stopped and did some dolphin watching, and they filleted out our catch. A good on the water.
