Trips with Straight Fins are great for kids, so get ‘em offline and onto the water! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!

Your vessel for the day is a 22’ Skeeter dual console with a capacity for 4 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect. It’s never a bad idea to bring sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses.  Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
