Went out early to improve chance of getting in fish which we did. We hooked up with several fish and they were quite tasty that evening.  Great fun on the trip. Trip was cut short due to daughter sea sick. I’m sure we would have continued to catch additional fish as we had two kingfish bites returning to dock two hrs early. I Nee that was I possibly going in so no regrets. Thanks again to Don & Scott.

Great morning!

Left promptly at 7am and had lines in the water by 7:20.  The Boat, “Vamos,” has a little age on her but still in very good condition.

The catching started quickly.  Had two Blackfin in the boat within 20 minutes.  All 6 in the party then took turns catching Bonito after Bonito until our arms were sore. The “Bonito-fest” was interrupted mid-morning by the high light of the trip- a 40 lb sailfish (my first)- what at thrill!  I was listening to the marine CB and could tell our boat was the easy winner of the boats in our area for the morning.  The Captain found the fish and Scott repeatedly demonstrated his expertise alternating between putting hooked-up rods in our hands and keeping lines in the water- pretty impressive.  They made it look easy and it’s not.

Granted, we would have preferred catching a few more fish to take home for dinner (Bonito apparently are not very good to eat- too bloody per the Captain); however we still had a great time and were always minutes away from another bite which made for an exciting morning. Did I mention I caught a Sailfish?

Overall, would highly recommend.

My family of five had the pleasure of hiring Capt Ed and Scotty on our latest sport fishing adventure.  Growing up in South Florida over the past 40 years, I have had the opportunity to go on numerous sport fishing charters.  Capt. Ed and Scotty are a class act and professional.  I would highly recommend and will hire them again.
