Land Based Shark fishing can be an exciting experience for a group of avid sports fishermen, or a family get-together. Get your group ready for a beach trip full of fun and fish that you will never forget.
Shark Fishing from the beach provides a unique opportunity. The entire family can enjoy targeting large fish without the worry of motion sickness or a group size limit; Kevin will provide rods, reels, and bait.
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Blacktip Shark, Bonnethead Shark, Bull Shark, Hammerhead Shark, Lemon Shark, Tiger Shark, Ladyfish, Jack Crevalle, Spanish Mackerel, Whiting, Redfish, and whatever else takes the bait.
Shark Time Outfitters participates in the catch, photo, and release of most shark species.
Although most sharks don't make the best table fair, smaller blacktips can be kept as well as red drum, whiting, or other species that we will target from the beach. All fish that are kept must meet Texas Parks and Wildlife regulations. You'll be fishing from the beach or from the top of a truck tower and from the beach, so make sure to pack your beach clothes. Come dressed for current weather conditions.
5 Rods will be maintained as best as we can during your fishing, more may be added depending on fishing and weather conditions.
Expect to get in touch with Kevin before the trip so you know where to meet and how to get there.
Be sure to buy a saltwater fishing license for everyone over the age of 16 in your group that plans on fishing ahead of time. It's never a bad idea to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and bottled water in any weather conditions.

We loved our fishing experience. The Kevins were so kind and made sure my four sons had a great time- even the four year old was included and caught a fish! They worked closely with my oldest and taught them some basics, and he is ready to buy a fishing rod of his own. The owner’s son even came out to play and my boys became fast friends. 10/10 recommend for families with active kids. Even though the fish were not very active today, we had a great time and everyone left happy. We will definitely book with them again when we come back to town!
Highly recommend Shark Time Charters for anyone that loves fishing and wants to have a great time with their family and friends. Miranda and Kevin were so informative and made the whole process enjoyable. We caught Trout, Black Tips, Whitings and a Catfish! Keep in mind that’s just on a choppy day out. Such a great turn out and we will definitely be booking again!
My wife and I had such a great time going with Shark Time and so glad we did. They pour their hearts and souls into what they do, and its beyond obvious that they do so from their own natural passion for the sport. We did catch sharks but if we hadn't, would have still rated them high for their hard work, attention to detail, passion and personableness. If you're considering Shark Time, don't let this one get away!
Kevin an Kevin are absolutely cool guys. They put our son on an 11’ 8” tiger shark that put up a good 45 minute fight. A great experience our son will not forget.
Kevin worked real hard to get us a fish. Fishing wasn’t that great but, that was no fault of Kevin. He worked hard kept all the lines out and baited. A bad day of fishing is still better than a good day at work. 10/10 would recommend SHARK TIME CHARTERS
